March Meeting Minutes

Thank you to those who attended tonight's meeting. We discussed elections, T-shirts, and fundraisers. Our next meeting will be on April 21st at 5pm. We are going to have a teacher panel with extraordinary Band, Choir, Orchestra, and General Music experience.

Elections:

You can find the form here. Applications are due April 30th. Submit the application to our President (Ella) or Vice President (Max). In our May meeting, we will be conducting interviews for applicants, reviewing our constitution, and housekeeping. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to contact any executive member.

Teacher Panel:

We have amazing educators from around the area coming to our next meeting on Friday, April 21st at 5pm. Philip Kaul teaches band at Desoto High School. Amber Kaul teaches general music in the Gardner School District. Teresa Murray teaches choir at Mission Trail Middle School. Courtney Nottingham teaches orchestra in the Auburn Washburn School District. Bring your questions for these amazing educators, three of which are KU alums! Can't wait to see you all there!

T-Shirts

If you have any designs that you want to share, please send them to Emma Caldwell ([email protected]). We’d love to have a pool of submissions to pull from.

Fundraiser

We are working on setting up a bake sale! We will send out a signup form soon. The form will look for donated items and times that you are available to run the stand. This will be a short, yet helpful way to grow our chapter.
